Dasanga Agada in Keetavisha : A Review
Abstract
Background: The Visha entered in the body would be soon distributed in the body after vitiating the Rakta Dhatu. To neutralize the Visha internal administration of Vishahara drug is essential. Dasanga Agada, an Ayurvedic formulation indicated in various poisonous conditions by Ayurvedic classic as well as Traditional Keraliya Visha Vaidyas. It is widely used in all types of Keetadamsa. Materials and Methods: The comprehensive review on Dasanga Agada Yoga was done from literatures and online sources. Observation and Result: Dasanga Agada is the formulation comprising of ten ingredients. Among them nine are herbal origin and one is mineral in origin. And almost all of the ingredients are having Vedanahara and Sophahara properties. Conclusion: Pain, Swelling and redness are the primary symptoms of Keetadamsha. We can manage these symptoms by internal and external usage of Dasanga Agada.
